Global chemical producer Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited (IVL) has delivered year-on-year revenue growth of 11 per cent in second quarter of 2017. The company’s revenue increased to $2,089 million during April-June quarter. This was despite planned turnarounds that led to a 4 per cent fall in production to 2,223 million tonnes.

China's exports in yuan-denominated terms rose 11.2 percent year on year in July while imports increased 14.7 percent, customs data showed Tuesday.
That led to a monthly trade surplus of 321.2 billion yuan ($47.8 billion), up 1.4 percent year on year, according to the General Administration of Customs.

Tianyuan Garments Company of Suzhou signed an agreement with SoftWear Automation of Atlanta to develop a fully automated T-shirt production line at Tianyuan's newly acquired plant in Little Rock, Arkansas, on July 19.
The technology was developed by and is patented by Georgia Tech's Advanced Technology Development Center. Using cameras to map the fabric and robots to steer it through the sewing needles, the system will handle soft fabrics and make T-shirts for Adidas.
