Apparel exports to the European Union (EU) countries surged by 25.18 percent in value and 26.17 percent in volume during January to June 2014 as the country netted export worth 865.962 million Euro, industry officials said on Monday.
Though Pakistan posted highest growth in apparel exports to the EU during January-June 2014 compared with all other major exporters, it’s per kg value at 10.66 Euro for garments and knitwear remained lowest amongst its major competitors, they added.
