Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has issued an order to set aside an amount of 65.569 billion dong (approx. US$ 3.08 million) for human resources training for the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) in the central budget in 2014.
The Prime Minister has requested Vinatex to use the additional funds for imparting education and training to improve manpower resources, while strictly complying with the current regulations.

The leather and footwear industry in Rwanda has got a boost with the establishment of a Leather Community Processing Centre (CPC) with technical cooperation from the Government of Italy.
