Since the week ending 17th of February, the 5-day average price of Chinese cotton has moved gradually downwards from 15,999 yuan per tonne. The 5-day average price is now at 15,960 yuan per tonne the week ending 3 March, 0.10% lower relative to the week ending 24 February, and 0.17% lower relative to week ending 17 March.
