Cotton futures fell to their lowest in more than a month on Wednesday as demand remained subdued despite significant losses in the past two weeks. The most active July cotton contract fell 0.07 cent, or 0.1 percent, to settle at 62.92 cents a lb after dropping as low as 62.35 cents, the lowest since March 19. Front-month May cotton fell 0.14 cent, or 0.2 percent, to settle at 62.49 cents.

Cotton futures fell to their lowest level in nearly three weeks on Tuesday, resuming a move down from six-month highs due to weak demand, after settling slightly higher the prior session on late-day mill buying. The most active July cotton contract fell 0.40 cent, or 0.6 percent, to settle at 62.99 cents a lb, after dropping as low as 62.86 cents a lb, the lowest since April 1.

Cotton futures dropped for the fourth straight session on Friday, to their lowest in more than two weeks, as persisting weak demand sent prices below a key technical level, sparking selling.
The most active July cotton contract fell 1.29 cents, or 2 percent, to settle at 63.29 cents a lb, after dropping as low as 63.26 cents a lb, the lowest since April 2. That was largest single-session loss since January 20.

Cotton futures fell to their lowest levels in two weeks on Thursday after weekly US government export sales data showed a net cancellation in new sales, prompting investor selling and outweighing the supportive effect of a weaker US dollar.
