This cluster is a group of 12 manufacturers who will all receive loans.Production under this project will commence in 2008.Major export destinations include Germany, Greece, Japan, Italy and Turkey while only seven-eight percent of the total output will be consumed by domestic market.This will help cope with the rising demand for quality silk in international market.

The European Union's anti-dumping duties on Chinese shoes are likely to affect the transaction of footwear at the 99th China Export Commodities Fair which is to open on Saturday in Guangzhou, the organizer said on Thursday.
"As the EU has decided to impose tentative duties on Chinese shoes, most European buyers will be cautious when they place an order," said Xu Bing, spokesman with the organizing committee of the fair.

China disclosed Tuesday that its trade surplus surged to $11.19 billion in March, its second-highest monthly surplus ever and a level that could feed trade frictions in advance of President Hu Jintao's visit to the United States next week.
