The country has a deficit of about 2430 million meters of textile, Textile and Jute Minister Shajahan Siraj informed parliament Monday.

China agreed to limit textile exports to Brazil, where the government says the products are threatening local industry. The two countries will sign an agreement tomorrow, the Brazilian Trade Ministry said.
