Only Karl Lagerfeld could turn a supermarket into a destination spot. Today’s Chanel Fall 2014 show transformed Paris’s iconic Grand Palais into a full-fledged Chanel Shopping Centre, complete with rows upon rows of double-C branded canned goods, condiments and more. Given that this was a Lagerfeld-designed grocery store, the aisles were immaculately styled and featured a towering pyrami

There is tons of talk about fabric this season. Thick chunky knits are everywhere at Paris Fashion Week, with the knit pant quickly becoming a key piece for Fall 2014. Rich velvets in romantic shades of burgundy to soft rose have been spotted at Nina Ricci and Elie Saab. Sheer silk chiffons have revealed everything from legs and backs to arms and décolletage, and lace is cropping up in nearly every collection as a full-on feature or a just hint of sex appeal. But what are designers doing with th

The calendar may read March, but a check of temperature outside (well, in some unlucky parts of the country) indicates that it's pretty much still winter. Yup, it's still really freakin' cold out there. So you know what that means: more layering. Although it seems like the sun will never shine and flowers will never bloom, I can't help but think about what I'll be wearing (hopefully) just around the corner this spring. Being a dress fanatic, I'm always looking for ways to change things up from the standard lace, florals and pretty pastels we associate with a spring wardrobe. I'm reminded of the spring (and a few recent fall 2014) collections, and a particular recurring fashion trend that will be the ultimate transition dressing staple: t

C?LINE Phoebe Philo took menswear, or rather women wearing men's clothing, as inspiration for her AW14 collection. Showing 42 looks, the collection was rife with coats, but the silhouette was long and slim, with just a few cocooning or flaring at the end. Coat dresses, knitted trousers and wrapped skirts made for a look that said less-is-more, focusing on fabric and craftsmanship, rather than glamour or sexiness. The platform sandals are sure to be a big hit on the high street next season.

Florals blanketed the runways at Dries Van Noten, Vionnet and Carven—but they aren't your ordinary florals— these crafty versions shown in cold-weather ensembles are waking me out of my winter blues.
Dries Van Noten kicked off Paris Fashion Week with a collection that hinted toward many of his greatest hits. Think 1930s silhouettes and bright, unexpected color combinations like fuchsia and marigold yellow. My favorite elements were the lily prints and raised decals. Talk about a way to spic

The Oscars 2014 red carpet has come and gone so let's get right to it, friends! Who was the best-dressed celebrity of the night?
It was custom Prada for Lupita Nyong'o. "It's a blue that reminds me of Nairobi, so I wanted to have a little bit of home," said the actress. A gold and diamond Fred Leighton headband completed the goddess-like look.
As expected, Jennifer Lawrence worked the red carpet in Dior. Do you like the decidedly less voluminous peplum gown or prefer the actress in so
